CCAPAC’s Grand Tambour is Kinshasa’s Central African cultural centre on Boulevard Triomphal, opposite Palais du Peuple. It opened on 14 December 2024 for Congolese and African arts, performance, cinema and heritage.

The Centre Culturel et Artistique pour les Pays d’Afrique Centrale, known as Grand Tambour, is a cultural complex in Kinshasa. It was inaugurated on 14 December 2024 by President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo as a national and regional hub for Congolese and Central African arts.

The centre stands on Boulevard Triomphal, opposite Palais du Peuple. CCAPAC lists visitor hours as Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00, Saturday 09:00–16:00 and Sunday 14:00–18:00. It is closed on public holidays, with special hours during school holidays. Parking is described as free and supervised.

Programmes cover music and live arts, theatre, cinema and audiovisual work, heritage and traditions, and a library-bookshop. Spaces include a 2,000-seat Grand Théâtre, a smaller theatre, hall, dance studio, atrium, esplanade and the Mukishi wa Pwo cafeteria. Check the official site for the current agenda before visiting.
